Introduction to our Workshops
Our workshops are specially designed to ensure that whether you are an aspiring actor or model, you are equipped with the skills, knowledge and expertise to help you succeed in this very demanding industry. This course may also help with confidence and self esteem if this is all you are seeking. The successful reputation of our workshops is based on the high calibre of experience that Director Mel Brown has within the Modelling industry. Mel has modelled for the past 17 years in ChCh and also London and is the perfect tutor to handover her first hand knowledge. Mel has modelled for Trinny and Susannah London, Bendon, Postie Plus, Ballantynes, Country Road and Barbara Lee to name a few over the years!!. Mel enjoys taking these workshops and gets alot of satisfaction in helping others. All recipients receive a certificate upon completion of the workshop and also your own professional photos - and btw - its alot of fun too!!.

Modelling Workshops (See options below)
Designed for those interested in the modelling industry, these workshops provide individuals with the necessary skills and grooming to become a successful model in both the local and international market. Please note you do not need to be model material to participate in one of our courses, gaining confidence and self esteem is a big factor on these courses also! All workshops include a photo shoot with a professional photographer.
Childrens Modelling/Deportment/Confidence Workshops
3 Day School Holiday Workshop (2:30pm - 5pm daily) Age 5 - 11 yrs. Next workshops dates to be updated soon.
This workshop covers catwalk, photographic posing, photo shoot, role-playing, theatre games, acting, confidence/deportment, health/nutrition, speaking as well as developing TV skills for commercials. At the duration of the course the kids put on a fun catwalk show in front of friends and family. This course is open to boys and girls.
Teenage Modelling/Deportment/Confidence Workshops
3 Day Holiday Workshop (10:30am - 1:30pm daily) Age 12-17 years Price $265. Next workshop dates are as follows for the Easter Holidays: Course One - 7/8/9th April or Course Two - 14/15/16th April. (Please enquire with which date suits you and we will then email you out further information) - TAKING BOOKINGS NOW - very popular course so be in quick so you can secure your place!
This workshop covers posture/deportment, grooming, confidence/self esteem, hair, skin care and nutrition, catwalk, exercise, makeup techniques/tips and makeover courtesy of KSSM, introduction to television castings, photo shoot with a professional photographer and wardrobe coordination. At the duration the teens put on a catwalk show in front of friends and family to celebrate their work and exhibit their new style and confidence! This course is open to males and females. Also a great course for school leavers!
Adult Modelling/Deportment/Confidence Workshops
7 Sessions - Mon/Tues weekly over a one month period at Portfolio Model Agency - (5.30pm-7.30pm) Age 17-35 years. Price $395.00 , payment scheme available if necessary. Next workshop dates are to be later this year 2010 - dates updated soon. Please enquire and we will email you out a course briefing.
This is an in-depth workshop that covers grooming tips, deportment/confidence, catwalk, haircare courtesy of Mods Hair Salon and skincare courtesy of Champs Elyse, makeup application/makeover courtesy of KSSM professional Makeup Artists, exercise and nutrition, TV and photographic casting skills, indepth modelling industry information, television skills/acting/speech, photographic posing and a professional photo shoot with a local leading photographer.
